Our Process

We will review your individual medical history to determine if medication is right for you and, if so, which one suits you best. You need to understand what the medications are covered on your insurance plan, this is called your formulary. Some people have access to this information on a phone app or online. If you have this available, please look up the medications. If you do not, you can call your insurance plan using the number on the back of your card to inquire.

Coupons and Savings Cards

Don’t despair if your insurance plan has an exclusion to weight loss medications, it doesn’t have to mean the end of options. Sometimes coupons and savings cards can help reduce the cost of medications.

It is important to know, however, that we DO NOT prescribe compounded injectable weight loss medications. The FDA does not approve compounded drugs (e.g. compounded peptides), and without their review, the FDA cannot assure that the compounded drugs have the same safety, efficacy, and purity of the FDA-approved medications that have gone through clinical trial testing.
